Since 1985, Planair has been contributing to the deployment of renewable energy, which, when all options are optimally used, can cover a substantial portion of our energy consumption.

In its constant quest for quality, Planair applies a programme to its infrastructure and employees called “Planair dans l’ère” (“Planair in the era”) which reduces all their energy and environmental impacts, both direct and indirect. ISO 9001 certified since 2000 and 14001 since 2004, this programme includes training employees in sustainable development.

This Planair approach, which guarantees exemplary, efficient and sustainable operation, inspires all our services. This is how we carry out our building refurbishment mandates, one of our core missions, dedicated to a major ‘pool’ of energy savings: Our experts accomplish it with the most performing measuring devices (thermo-graphic cameras, leak-testing infrastructure, etc.) and the most advanced software tools. Thus it is for all our other commitments, whether designing new buildings, monitoring in energy, complying with a label, etc.

Planair also stands at the forefront in designing heating/ventilation/sanitary/electricity infrastructure to meet the highest standards - ours and yours! - and equipment using renewable energy (wood, solar, thermal and photovoltaic, biomass, heat pumps, combined heat & power, etc.) or conventional energy.

Overall, each component, each implementation step involves the challenge of reducing energy impact - all our calculations and reports incorporate “hidden” grey energy !
