Planning and monitoring of solar and battery installations

The OFCL (Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics), in line with its sustainable development strategy, promotes the use of renewable energy sources for its real estate portfolio. To date, some thirty solar installations are in operation abroad (photovoltaic, solar thermal), including 6 in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Planair SA is responsible through a framework contract for the project management and in particular for the installation, commissioning and operation of technical monitoring solutions at various Swiss embassies abroad. Planair is therefore aware of all the regulatory and technical constraints of renewable energy installations in these countries.

Planair is currently renovating the PV and battery system supporting the weak grid at the Harare embassy in Zimbabwe with 40 kWh in the embassy and 2 x 20 kWh in the residences.

A digital platform allows real-time viewing of the production of these installations, as well as the quantities of CO2 saved. All the planned installations can be found at : https://bbl.solarlog-web.ch/35454.html
